Dialectical Behavior Therapy
DBT is a type of CBT that focuses on overcontrol for some (RO-DBT) and under-control (DBT) for others. It is typically combined with group therapy and phone-coaching
The Center offers RO-DBT and DBT for borderline personality disorder, bulimia nervosa, binge eating disorder, and anorexia nervosa

Trauma-Focused Therapy
Many trauma-focused treatments use skills like exposure, response prevention, and CBT skills to help decrease trauma-related symptoms
The Center offers trauma-focused therapies for post-traumatic stress disorder

Group Therapy
Group therapy brings together similarly aged individuals with similar symptoms to learn and practice coping skills
The Center currently offers an emerging adult and adolescent DBT skills group.

Parent Skills Training
Parent skills training helps parents learn and practice coping skills, set boundaries, and use consequences to help their child cope more effectively
The Center uses parent skills training for parents who find it difficult to help their child use coping skills

Family Therapy
Family therapy focuses on improving interpersonal relationships and encouraging mutual respect from all family members
The Center uses family therapy for all patients, as needed. For patients with anorexia nervosa, family-based therapy may be used depending on other patient symptoms.
